Welcome to Bamburgh Holidays
We have two great Self Catering Properties in the Heart of Bamburgh: The Greenhouse a large four bedroom house sleeping up to 8 and Greenleaf a Spacious 2 bedroom cottage sleeping up to 6.
We manage all aspects of the properties ourselves from booking to cleaning so you can be reassured of high standards of service and attention to detail. On arrival you will find your holiday cottage warm, with beds made up, tea tray ready with a selection of fair trade Coffee & Tea, delicious biscuits, flowers on the table, a jar of homemade Jam or locally made honey and a complimentary bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. We also aspire to run both properties in as environmentally friendly manner as we can from the use of eco friendly cleaning products & air drying our bedding, to low energy light bulbs and locally sourced or fair trade products for our welcome packs.
The Greenhouse and Greenleaf provide a wonderful base to explore Northumberland set in the heart of Bamburgh which is so quiet and tranquil. Both properties are also within strolling distance of a selection of superb restaurants and shops, Bamburgh Castle and miles of white sandy Beaches. We know you will enjoy staying here as much as we do. Our Two properties:
The Greenhouse: (sleeps 8) Large Four Bedroom House situated in the center of the historic coastal village of Bamburgh, built in 1893 as the village grocers store. It Faces the tree lined village grove providing the ideal setting for a quiet relaxing break. We have carefully refurbished it over the last 9 years to provide a stylish family home with all the modern conveniences to make your stay relaxing and memorable. The Greenhouse also has the advantage of all four of the bedrooms being en-suite making it ideal for sharing with friends or large family groups.
Greenleaf: (sleeps 6) a newer spacious two bedroom cottage attached to the rear of The Greenhouse enjoying the same central location within Bamburgh. This modern property is perfect for families with a large open plan sitting and dining room. Greenleaf has its own small walled garden with lawn and patio area which is beautifully sheltered making it a real suntrap. Greenleaf also has the advantage of a private parking space.
Larger Family Groups: As the two properties are attached we can also offer both properties together for larger family groups catering for up to 14 people.
