The Greenhouse is a large four bedroom house (4 star tourist board rated) situated in the centre of the village of Bamburgh, built in 1893 as the village grocers store. It has been carefully refurbished over the last 8 years to provide a stylish family home with all the modern conveniences to make your stay relaxing and memorable.
Ground Floor Lounge - spacious lounge with large bespoke 8 seater corner sofa, original cast iron range (no longer in use), digital flat screen television and dvd player . Dining Room - the Lounge opens out into our light and airy dining room with large oak dining table seated for 8. This room was once the village grocers store and has a beautiful bay window with views across the tree lined village grove towards St Aidans Church.

Kitchen - fully fitted family Kitchen including: dishwasher, range style cooker with electric double oven with seperate grill and 7 burner gas hob and microwave.

Reading Room - second sitting room/snug -a peaceful room to read or relax in, books and leaflets to read about Bamburgh and Northumberland and cd player with ipod dock . Laundry room - separate shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer plus air drying facilities. |

First Floor 2 large bedrooms one with a large king size sleigh bed and the other with a king size bed that can split off into two single beds. Both rooms have flat screen digital televisions and en-suites with shower wash hand basin and toilet. These rooms have space for a cot which can be provided.

Externally
The Greenhouse has a private modern decked area and BBQ ideal for entertaining and relaxing with large hardwood table and seating for 8 exclusively for the use of guests staying at The Greenhouse. Beautiful and sheltered it is a real sun trap!
Smoking
The Greenhouse has a no smoking policy and is fitted with smoke detectors .
Pets
We are happy to accept well behaved pets but only downstairs please keep them out of the bedrooms and off the furniture . Your first pet is FREE and each thereafter is £30.
Family Friendly
Going away with Children can be a daunting experience especially with all the extra luggage you often need with you. However at The Greenhouse we provide as standard:
In the kitchen:

- Socket covers (located in the utensils drawer)
In the Lounge/Dining room:

- Range of toys, books, games & DVD's
In the landing cupboard:
- Travel Cot & Mattress - Suitable for Infants (we do supply a mattress cover and blanket but please bring any additional bedding you may require)

- Changing mat & nappy pail

- Plug in night light
The Greenhouse also has a stair gate at the top of the stairs and a fire door at the bottom.
Food Deliveries
Why not take the stress out of holiday food shopping and order your groceries to be delivered direct. If you let us know in advance and order your delivery to arrive between 10.30am and 2pm we can unpack your groceries and put them in the fridge/freezer etc... ready for your arrival.
